What we can work on

Algebra 2, college algebra, trigonometry, and precalculus—including AP Precalculus. Make sense of functions, graphs, and the skills calculus builds on.
AP Calculus AB/BC, Calculus I, Calculus II, and business calculus. Connect limits, derivatives, and integrals to what they actually mean.
Build understanding of motion, forces, energy, and momentum. Connect diagrams and equations to physical situations, and practice explaining your reasoning.
Turn review into a plan. Practice choosing an approach, showing clear reasoning, and checking your work under test conditions.
How it works
You don’t need to know exactly where you’re stuck. Figuring that out is part of the work.
01Choose a time.
Start with a free 20-minute intro call, or book a 60- or 90-minute tutoring session. I’m flexible with scheduling, with sessions available on weekdays.
02Send what you’re working on.
Share your topics, problem pictures, or upcoming test material so we can make the most of our time.
03Work through it together.
We meet on Google Meet, write out the reasoning, and practice the steps. Shared digital notes give you something useful to review afterward.

Meet your tutor
I bring an engineer’s approach to math: break a problem into manageable pieces, understand why each step works, and check that the answer makes sense.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.
My goal is to help you become more confident and independent. We’ll work at your pace, ask questions, and build understanding you can carry into the next class.

A worked example
Watch me work through a rational-function derivative, choose the quotient rule, and simplify the result carefully—without skipping the reasoning that makes the process understandable.
